Privacy

This page covers the sidegig website and, in one short section, what the open-source tool itself does with data. Last updated 2026-11-03.

Who is responsible

The sidegig team at growapps.ai. We have no separate legal entity yet. Contact:

What we collect

  • Release-updates sign-ups. When you use the form, it opens your email app with a message to hello@growapps.ai holding your email address and your answer to “I want to…”. The sign-up arrives by email at hello@growapps.ai, and only if you send that message. This site stores nothing itself.
  • Campaign tags in the link you arrived through (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content). We keep them in your browser tab’s session storage until the tab closes, so we know which post or email brought you.
  • No analytics. This version of the site runs no analytics and sets no cookies.

We do not run ads, we do not sell data, we do not record your screen, and we use no other tracking.

Why we collect it

To tell you about sidegig releases. That is all.

Links to other sites

This site links to the sidegig repository on GitHub. It loads nothing from GitHub: the link only takes you there when you click it, and GitHub’s own privacy policy applies on that site.

How long we keep it

Sign-up emails are kept until the experiment ends, or until you ask us to delete yours, whichever comes first.

The sidegig tool itself

  • No accounts and no sign-in.
  • No telemetry. The package makes no network calls.
  • Questions and answers are plain text files in the folder you choose. Anyone who can open that folder can read them. There is no encryption at rest; folder permissions are the only protection.
  • The agents you connect to it are separate software. What an agent reads from a thread goes wherever that agent sends its context, for example to its model provider.

Your choices

To see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it removed, email . You can also unsubscribe from any email we send.
